Hello!
We are the team behind IAVE, we know how difficult it is to have interactions with researchers at the forefront of different areas of Medical Physics, especially if they are international. That's why at IAVE we are willing to break down geographical barriers and help you connect with members of the international scientific community to expand YOUR professional development.

Who are we?
We are an online social outreach project completely free of charge and run by professional volunteers of the academic field. IAVE is based at the University of Costa Rica, consisting of a group of professionals and professors from multiple educational institutions (Nodes) of Medical Physics, who value the importance of collaborative culture for the progress of the scientific space and understand the limitations that students experience when entering it.
Our goal is to encourage the academic and scientific exchange among students from multiple countries and, create a collaborative culture that promotes the development of Medical Physics through virtual platforms. We want to provide a space for students to be part of this culture from the beginning of their training and incorporate it into their work as future scientists.
We all have been there, Let us help!
IAVE´s Origins
Our project was born on the need to expose students to Medical Physics as a field of scientific research and as a space for networking that overcomes borders. The idea of a network comes from the concerns of the professors that identify the need for soft skills in their students for the international environment. Furthermore, resolve the limitations on accessibility to opportunities for international scientific interaction. Creating IAVE, as a space for virtual exchange, dialogue and discussion at an international level, where the connections with professionals and future professionals are made overcoming physical borders.
